VELVET PETALS Necklace

Necklace - Sarah Coventry. "VELVET PETALS" from 1982. Shiny, wavy silvertone disks hinged together, finished with a wide black velvet "chain". Just stunning! Adjustable from 16" to 18" long. Silvertone disks are 1" tall and are textured on the back. Black velvet chain is 11/16" wide. Excellent condition - appears to have never been worn. Shown in the 1982 "Soft & Sensational" catalog on page 40. Sold for $65 in 1982 - a relatively high price for the time. A very rare find!
