Earrings - Sarah Coventry. "TWISTER" from 1977. Large twisted silvertone hoops. This style evolved over the years. TWISTER pierced earrings were originally introduced in 1974 and had a straight wire closure, not a post as these do. The post version, shown here, was introduced in August 1977. 1 5/8" in diameter, 3/32" thick. Excellent condition - appear to have never been worn. Earrings are not marked, as is typical of Sarah Coventry's pierced earrings. Wing backs are the originals and are marked "Sarah".
