TURNABOUT Earrings

Earrings - Sarah Coventry. "TURNABOUT" from 1953. Absolutely gorgeous shiny silvertone disk links - raised checkerboard pattern on one side, a more subdued swirl pattern on the other side. Ingenious design by Sarah Coventry uses a foldover bracelet clasp that opens to reverse the disk. Unmarked but shown in the Sarah Coventry Inspirations pages and in the collector's book "Idnetifying Sarah Coventry Jewelry 1949-2009" by Sandra Sturdivant and Shirley Crabtree.
