Pin - Sarah Coventry. "LADY SLIPPER" Award pin. Shiny goldtone and brushed silvertone open toe high heel shoe. This style of shoe was popular in the late 1970's/early 1980's so I am assuming that is the date range of this piece. Shown in the Schiffer Collector's book by Sandra Sturdivant and Shirley Crabtree - page 178. 1 7/8" long,1 7/8" tall. Very good condition with a chip to the lower "sole" at the toe.
