Earrings - Sarah Coventry. "HAPPY TALK" from 1974. The HAPPY TALK earrings were first introduced in April 1974 with the red rhinestone centers, no other colors - stock #7985. They were very popular, so in August 1974 these became a birthstone series with 12 colors being offered for January to December birthstones. The July Ruby earrings, shown here have the original stock #7985 on the card. As of August 1974 the stock number changed to #7148.
Small shiny goldtone loopy flowers with a red rhinestone center. About 3/8" in diameter. Pierced with shiny goldtone wingbacks that are not marked but most likely the originals since these earrings are in the box and appear to have never been worn. Excellent condition.
